Stacey Smith is an international comedian, actor, improviser, educator, speaker, and producer based in The Netherlands.

Originally hailing from the US, Stacey built her foundation in Chicago's legendary comedy community, performing, teaching, and directing at world-renowned institutions including The Second City, iO Chicago, ImprovBoston, and ComedySportz Chicago. A prolific musical improviser and producer, she founded the Chicago Musical Improv Festival and created hit shows such as Fraudway and The Musical Armando. She also spent years performing aboard Norwegian Cruise Line as part of The Second City theatrical cast, putting on up to 15 shows a week across international waters.

In the Netherlands, Stacey served as Director of Education and Mainstage Cast Member at Amsterdam’s iconic Boom Chicago, as well as Artistic Director of the Boom Chicago Comedy Festival from 2021 to 2025.

Stacey is the founder of Amsterdam Comedy Studio and creator of H.E.R. (Humor, Empowerment, Resilience) - a transformative female empowerment and professional communication course designed for women in business. Blending comedy mechanics, public speaking, and applied improvisation, H.E.R. helps professionals drop corporate jargon, ditch overthinking, master vocal presence, and build unshakeable confidence in high-pressure environments.

When she isn't on stage performing or running workshops, Stacey delivers corporate keynotes and custom hosting for global organizations, teaching communication, agility, and team connection through the power of improvisation.
